Winter months..

Its that time of year again..

The winter bug has hit the house! Rose went down with it first now Grace. Its been a good while since Grace has been ill and i am always surprised at how much she can vomit, its 4am and i already have 3 loads of washing. Grace is looking very sorry for herself. I have learnt if i let her play for half hour and do some bum shuffling it can help clear the mucus from her chest.

It always worries me incase we end up in hopsital as with all of us. I find it easier to stay home now and avoid the 5 hour a&e with trainee doctors who have no knowlegde about whs. Thats the thing i find most frustrating is they never seem to understand how these children can go downhill so very quickly. Fingers crossed we manage to stay away this time. Lots of sips of water and some after eight mints for now and see how we go.

These winter months can be so cruel to our children.
