Christmas gift ideas.
I know Christmas is fast approaching and it is always difficult to find gifts for our children so I thought I would post a few links of sensory toys I have found over the years that has been useful for Grace.
A website I have found really useful for gifts is https://www.cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk/ they have such a wide selection of sensory toys and for a good price.
We have purchased the scented play doh quite a few times it smells so good and lasts ages. It comes in a range of scents, but you could make a homemade one really easy to make at home for a rainy day.

Grace really likes the colour changing pillow which is very soothing and feels so soft, great for winter when it gets darker earlier.

The first toy Grace managed to play with was a mirror chime. Its really good as it needs such little effort to make a noise so is really easy for children to bat with their hands. Good for practicing cause and effect and great for small hands defiantly one of our favourites and is very popular in schools. There really is some great products on this website so check it out.

Another great idea is to make a sensory box. You could fill it with different pieces of fabrics, sponges, cards and paper. Any old material you can find and cut into small pieces. Objects you find around the house like a hairbrush or toothbrush as these add a different texture. I will make one soon and post it on the site as they are so useful to have children of all abilities love them so great to play with siblings.
Hope this is useful if anybody has any good ideas then feel free to add a comment.
